Ballers Sports – Week in Review

Kemp was this weeks throwback

As a sports blogger who isn’t really into putting a lot of additional entertainment gossip and other things on this site we would like to keep this site for the sports purist. We are already working on some interesting and fun topics for next week but if you have an idea or would like to do a guest feature just hit us in the comments or email us at ballers.sports@gmail.com Since its going into a relatively slow sports weekend we thought we would just recap the week that was.

Monday we realized that a lot of fans may be in mourning that the NFL season is now gone and the possibility of a lock out looking very much a possibility, we decided to do something a little different and do a NBA post. Everyone likes highlights, especially of players who no longer play in the league. We did a quick little post of some of our favorite old school clips for the readers enjoyment and for ours.

We'll see more of Nique next week in our 50 greatest

Tuesday has become “Throwback Tuesday” at Ballers Sports and this is really fun as we really just take a trip back down memory lane to some of the athletes who did their thing. This weeks TT profile was of Shawn “the reign man” Kemp. It was a joy to research him and find old clips of him flying through the air. If you miss any day of the week, don’t miss this one.

Since we put out two post on Tuesday there was no post on Wednesday. The second post on Tuesday finally addressed the SuperBowl. Since that’s what ESPN was talking about ever since sunday we thought we’d do a fun little post about “Things We’ve Learned from Super Bowl XLV” – http://wp.me/p1hrP8-9U

Thursday we put out a very personal piece entitled “My Sports Journey”. This was kind of an introduction of how we entered into sports “fandom”. We received a lot of positive feedback especially from other sports bloggers and we are excited to keeping building the brand of Ballers Sports.

Thank you to all that support the site as well as our friends on our Blogroll. We look forward to keep giving you the best in sports stories, coverage and analysis for a long time to come.
